According to the Ministry of Industry and web site reports, this year from January to April, Electricity Consumption 1.3075 trillion kwh, up 23.9% in April increased industrial use of electricity down.
It is reported that from January to April this year, industrial consumption 957.5 billion kwh, up by 27% (accounting for 73.2% of electricity consumption in the community). Sub-light, heavy looking, light electricity 154.9 billion kwh, up 13.5%; heavy electricity 802.6 billion kwh, an increase of 30%.
Increase in industrial electricity consumption fell in April. In April, the country's industrial electricity consumption grew 25.6%, down 2 percentage points than the first quarter growth rate; which light power increased by 12.3%, 28.7% growth in heavy industry, electricity, than the first quarter were down 1.7 and 1.9 percentage points.
Power by the major energy-consuming industries of low base last year grew rapidly. In April, the manufacturing sector electricity consumption 194.6 billion kwh, up 25.6%. Iron and steel, building materials industry, electricity consumption grew month, 33.7% and 18.2% last month to speed up the growth rate was 4.4 and 14.2 percentage points; color and chemical industry consumption increased by 46.7% and 14%, down 8.7 and 6.7 the previous month percentage points. Average daily consumption of four sectors have different growth last month.
